Info

Updates this Evening!

I'm currently in the process of redesigning some of the content, including the information pages. If you see something that is broken, then you know that I am in the process of fixing it.

I'm also adding several hundred pictures or so to the gallery, and might even be adding a new section or two. I'm also debating the possibility of a forum or something like that.

I'll be working throughout the night on the site!

Also, happy LATE Mothers' Day to all the Mothers who visit Gary Sinise Net!

Sincerely,
Paul

Gary Sinise to co-host PBS National Memorial Day Concert on May 25

As the war in Iraq and Afghanistan wages on, PBS unites our nation with the award-winning National Memorial Day Concert honoring the service and sacrifice of our men and women in uniform, their families at home and all of those who have given their lives for our country. The event, which has become the memorial service for our entire nation, is co-hosted for the third year by Gary Sinise (CSI:New York) and Tony Award-winner Joe Mantegna (Criminal Minds), two acclaimed actors who have dedicated themselves to veteran’s causes and supporting our troops in active service.

NY Post Article

CSI:NY Went On Without Writers

The last new episodes of “CSI: NY” are set to air, most likely in January, The Post has learned. Of the new three episodes, two were completed by CBS personnel in the absence of striking writers.

Sam Humphrey, an executive story editor on “CSI: NY,” said she and her striking colleagues have faith in the show’s post-production staff. “On our show we work so closely [with the post-production staff]. They’re committed to making as great a show as we are,” she said. “So with all the strike stuff, we have a lot of faith in their abilities and can’t wait to get back to working with them.”

“CSI: NY” writers were about halfway through episode #12, “Happily Never After,” when the strike was called Nov. 5. The episodes are set to air “most likely” in January and were completed by the show’s “non-writing producers,” sources said.

Steppenwolf’s Dramatic Arc

BusinessWeek mentioned Gary in their article about Steppenwolf...

Founders Terry Kinney, Jeff Perry, and Gary Sinise probably would have been startled, too, had somebody told them then that there would be an annual golf fund-raiser in their future or that their theater would turn increasingly to marketing ploys and gifts to make ends meet. "Our first business manager, years and years ago, said we needed a five-year plan", Sinise recalls. "This is when we were all kids, right? And thinking five years ahead was something we couldn't do, so we all kind of laughed".
